Today was our final day of trying different fruit and vegetables as part of the Eat Them To Defeat Them campaign. We tried roasted butternut squash and although it wasn’t our favourite vegetable some children really loved it. At the end we did a vote on our favourite fruit or vegetable that we had tried and sweet corn won by 1 vote. The children and the adults have loved trying all of the fruits and vegetables. We hope that at home the children will be more adventurous at trying new foods and creating lifelong healthy habits.
